IPA (ZA) COVID-19 Relief Fund
Establishment of the IPA (SA) COVID-19 Relief Fund for IPA (SA) Members
The COVID-19 pandemic has, as across the World, spread through South Africa exponentially and our policing officials who remain committed to serve and protect their communities, have by doing so, placed themselves and their families at risk by being on the frontline.
IPA South Africa has embarked on a national initiative to support serving policing officials who are members of IPA South Africa and their families affected by Covid-19.
It is in this regard to support those affected by this pandemic with condolence parcels, decontamination of houses, emotional support/ counseling to loved ones, and in other ways that are reasonable.
IPA South Africa has in this regard partnered with the Save Foundation, a registered non-profit organisation, in supporting policing officials and their families affected by Covid-19.
Information pertaining to the SAVE Foundation can be found at: http://savefoundation.org.za
For this purpose, the IPA (SA) COVID 19 Relief Fund has been established.
An appeal is made to our IPA Regional Committees and IPA Members to if in any possible, to please support the initiative through the SAVE Foundation in aid of affected members of the International Police Association.
Donations can be made by directly to the SAVE Foundation in the following manner and if requested, a Section 18A Tax Certificate will be issued the donation made:
