International Travel

The International Police Association has made the world your oyster!!
Yes! Even on the salary of a Police Officer, this is possible. All thanks to the organisational muscle of the International Police Association.

IPA Houses have been established in a number of countries for the benefit of members and their families.

Gimborn Castle

Gimborn Castle, in Germany, is known as the Flagship of the International Police Association. It is the IPA’s International Conference Centre where seminars, conferences and meetings are held.

International Youth Gatherings

International Youth Gatherings are hosted annually by different Sections, inviting 15 – 17 year olds, in groups of around 50 participants. Children and Grandchildren of members enjoy a special theme, with activities to encourage an ‘international spirit’.

Arthur Troop Scholarship

Arthur Troop Scholarships are awarded annually and at least one will be granted to each continent in which IPA have member sections. Each scholarship consists of a bursary of up to 2500 €, to be used for a seminar at the International Conference Centre IBZ Schloss Gimborn, or at a comparable institution.

Hobby Groups

Hobbies Groups, which vary from Section to Section, allow members to share their interests with other like-minded people. For example, Fishing, Radio Amateurs, Computer Enthusiasts, Golfers, Genealogists, Go-Karting, etc. are just a few of the activities enjoyed by members.

Social Events

Social Events are enjoyed at local (Branch) level to establish and maintain bonds of friendship and camaraderie.

Members' Families

The Association welcomes and encourages involvement of spouses, partners and children.
