The South African Police Service’s George and IPA Garden Route’s Sgt. Wilson Jantjies, together with the Fire and Traffic Department, launched a safety awareness project at the school for the learners for two weeks. The project was for learners from Grade R up to Grade 6.

In the last two weeks, we have had different security workers visit our school. These field workers came to deliver short motivations and speeches about safety at home, at school and community.

Learners really enjoyed these two weeks and some of them also decided what they want to become one day.
