COVID-19: IPA West Coast supporting communities
Thank you to the real heros out there: the ones who go out there every day to serve and protect our communities.
During this time of full lockdown in our country, there are people in our communities that are really suffering. Schools are closed and for some children this was the only place to get a meal for the day.
IPA West Coast members Elbie and Carla dropped off much needed ingredients to some of the teachers in Dunoon, who then cook meals from their homes to try and help the children in their immediate facinity.
These teachers were also given containers of sanitizer to help those living around them.
In Wolwefontein we handed out gloves and in Melkbosstrand we also dropped off much needed food supplies and sanitizer.
But let us not forget our colleagues. The front line workers, reporting every day for duty to help fight this invisible, unknown enemy that is crippling the world.
We went around to three police stations and a road block to hand out a message of appreciation to our colleagues.
Thank you very much to everybody that have donated to SAVE. Without the support of our communities we cannot live up to our responsibilities as IPA members.
