COVID-19: Important Message from IPA (ZA) President
Dear IPA Friends & Colleagues,
The South African Government in its efforts as undertaken by other Countries, has as result of preventing the spread of Covid-19 virus, implemented emergency solutions to which entail travel ban to and from South Africa.
In this regard, IPA South Africa in support of all preventative initiatives, has sadly no other choice but to inform all that until further notice, no bookings will be taken from foreign IPA members and/or other visitors entering the Country from outside at its four Official IPA Houses:
- Ben Stevens Guest House – Durban
- Gamka Moore Guest House – Beaufort West
- Johann Rissik Guest House – Pretoria
- Timour Hall Villa Guest House – Cape Town
Existing bookings will be fulfilled on condition that such travellers conform to the requirements for entry into South Africa as directed by the South African Government and which could entail a set period of self-isolation prior to embarking on travel through South Africa.
IPA (SA) members are to inquire from the Guest House Managers directly in order to determine whether the respective House is operating as Government Health Policies may impact on the continuing operations at a specific House. We also need to take the health risk facing our staff at the respective Houses.
The mitigation actions implemented will be reviewed from time to time and in the event of any changes, it will be communicated to all.

In friendship we will across the Globe unite against this health threat.
