The Town has been renamed in honour of the late Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, wife of late President Nelson Mandela, in honour of the struggle stalwart who was placed under house arrest in Brandfort in May 1977.<\/p>\n<p>Close to the town of Brandfort, is the exclusive <strong>Amanzi Private Game Reserve<\/strong> that will be the host for the 2022 National Council Meeting. \u00a0IPA delegates and visitors will be accommodated in luxurious accommodation surrounded by the unique Free State landscape and the sounds of lions roaring. \u00a0The beautiful sites and walking trails, game drives and Spa relaxation is there for all to enjoy. \u00a0So bring your walking shoes and come and experience the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.<\/p>\n<p>An excursion aimed to blow your mind will be provided in which we will showcase our beautiful surroundings and Free State hospitality.<\/p>\n<p>We are eagerly looking forward to seeing and hosting you from 20 to 23 October 2022. \u00a0Please note that we can only cater for 50 guests on-site and therefore the \u201cfirst come first served\u201d rule will apply. \u00a0A 50% deposit needs to be provided to the venue to secure our reservation. \u00a0We, therefore, request that the funds be paid by no later than 15 September 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors are more than welcome to attend although no official programme is available.\u00a0 The reserve provides ample opportunities to relax by the pool, walk on the many trails or enjoy a drink at your beautiful accommodation.<\/p>\n<p>Amanzi is situated \u00b1 74 km from Bloemfontein. The road leading to Amanzi from Brandfort is a gravel road but is in excellent condition.<\/p>\n<p>Your own transport is needed in respect of delegates flying to Bloemfontein, although this is not recommended as flights to Bloemfontein are extremely expensive.
