SUMMARY:Terrorism – Recognising radicalisation\, preventing attacks\, dismantling networks | Terrorism – recognizing radicalization\, preventing attacks\, dismantling networks (D/E)
DESCRIPTION:Description\n\nIn this seminar\, participants learn to recognize terrorist structures and networks – Islamist\, right-wing and left-wing extremist – and to realistically assess their effects on internal security. They identify indicators of radicalisation and attack preparation and transfer this knowledge to everyday police work. \nIn addition\, current threat situations are analysed and police prevention\, investigation and deployment strategies for dealing with terrorist actors are taught. SUMMARY:Tactical First Aid – Advanced Basic Course (E)
DESCRIPTION:Description\n\nThis three-day course is designed for active and retired police officers with little or no prior knowledge of tactical emergency medicine. It introduces the philosophy of tactical pre-hospital trauma care\, emphasizing the need to treat multi-system trauma patients as complex individuals with unique medical and tactical requirements. This often calls for a different approach than that used in conventional emergency medicine. \nThe content is based on the real-world experience of numerous tactical first responders from police and military units who have operated in hostile environments around the world—situations where traditional pre-hospital treatment methods often fail. \nTraining begins with the fundamentals of tactical medical skills and progressively advances to more specialized topics. Participants will learn to assess complex injuries\, prioritize interventions\, and apply lifesaving measures effectively under high-risk and dynamic conditions\, always maintaining situational awareness and personal safety. \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n Download Registration Form

DESCRIPTION:IPA Brasil is pleased to invite members to the 3rd edition of Favela on Duty\, running from 19–30 September. This international police exchange programme offers participants first-hand experience with Rio de Janeiro’s specialised police units in high-intensity urban environments.
