DESCRIPTION:IPA Sweden and the Defensive Tactics Group of IPA Sweden are delighted to invite active IPA Members to participate in COPS 2019 – a training camp in defensive tactics. \nThe event will be held in Uddevalla\, Sweden\, and will take place from 25-27 April 2019. COPS 2019 is open to applications from all active IPA members\, with the maximum participants being 40. \nOur goal is to bring in participants from many IPA Sections. \nThe above participation fee covers defensive tactic training and lectures\, shared accommodation in cottage\, three meals a day including gala dinner\, transportation between training venues and goodie bag.\nParticipants cover their expenses regarding travel and transfer\, insurance and other extras not mentioned in the final programme.

In the evening a demonstration of Scouting Skills. \nSaturday 11th\nArchery/Air Rifles/Tomahawks Raft Building/Assault Course. This is a full activity day at Walesby. \nSunday 12th\nA day at a Theme Park. \nMonday 13th\nSightseeing at Stratford-Upon-Avon\, home of the famous playwright and poet William Shakespeare where the acting skills of our youth will be put to good use. \nTuesday 14th\nTreasure Hunt in Sherwood Forest followed by a visit to the nearby National Holocaust Centre. \nWednesday 15th\nBradgate Park\, the home of Lady Jane Grey\, then onto the famous Leicester City Football Club finishing with a visit to the Leicestershire Police Public Order Training Ground and other Police units (Dogs\, Traffic\, Firearms\, and Communication Centre.) \nThursday 16th\nRiver Crossing / Bush Craft / CSI activity then an opportunity to do some shopping finishing with Photo Bomb Photo Booth activity where the participants will have their very own photo booth to use. \nFriday 17th\nUK National Space Centre before moving to Rutland Water nature reserve and water sports centre. \nSaturday 18th\nGala evening with presentations and awards with a final BBQ. \nSunday 19th\nTravel to transport hubs \nSpare/alternative day visit to Warwick Castle where the Middle Ages literally come to life. \n\n\nThe cost of the IYG includes all meals\, lodging\, transportation and activities. Airfare is not included.\nApplicants should submit the completed application form through their Section to reach IYG Section UK by 31st March 2018\nThe signed application form must be submitted together with the signed parental agreement forms and copy of the applicant’s passport (these can be scanned & emailed).\nParticipants must have reached their 16th birthday but not their 18th birthday on 6th August 2018.\nThis event will use English as its language – no interpreters will be available.

DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the official organisation of the world’s largest soccer tournament exclusively for government personnel\, I have the great honour of inviting your department/team to the 34th annual World Police Indoor Soccer Tournament in the Netherlands this October. This event has the full support of the IPA in the Netherlands. \nFor delegations originating outside of Europe\, up to 10 individuals per delegation will receive their bungalow housing and meals (breakfast and dinner) absolutely FREE from the 9th through 13th of October 2017. \nThe World Police Indoor Soccer Tournament is the only world championship indoor soccer (futsal) event exclusively for government teams. The World Police Indoor Soccer Tournament is open to Police Officers\, Firefighters\, Customs Officers\, Military personnel\, Tax Officers\, personnel of the Ministry of Interior and state\, provincial or municipal employees and staff from the various ministries. \nOur 2016 tournament was a great success with enthusiastic participation from 2\,900 government personnel from over 52 countries. SUMMARY:MAURITIUS: Friendship Week
DESCRIPTION:The Mauritius Police Force is celebrating its 250th Anniversary this year. In this context\, IPA Mauritius Section is organising a Friendship week from the 30th July to 4th of August 2017.\nThe main event of the Friendship week will be the participation of delegates in the official parade that will be held on the 1st of August 2017. Delegates shall be required to wear their official ceremonial uniform on that occasion and shall carry their respective National flag (same to be brought by delegates). \nSeveral activities are scheduled as from the month of June that will culminate in the Main ceremony on the 1st of August 2017. We hope to have a good representation from all IPA Sections for the good running of the events and we will update until the event date. \n

DESCRIPTION:IPA South Africa hereby informs all IPA Sections that the International Youth Gathering will be hosted in South Africa from 29 July to 13 August 2017. \nRegistration will open on 1 November 2016 and closes on 3 February 2017. \nWe hereby cordially extend an invitation to all IPA Sections communicate this their respective members and to offer their Youth to latch onto this opportunity and explore what South Africa has to offer. We promise participants an African experience of a life time. \nThe number of participants will be limited to 64 and will be handled on a first-come\, first-served basis.
