DESCRIPTION:Description\n\nThis three-day course is designed for active and retired police officers with little or no prior knowledge of tactical emergency medicine. It introduces the philosophy of tactical pre-hospital trauma care\, emphasizing the need to treat multi-system trauma patients as complex individuals with unique medical and tactical requirements. This often calls for a different approach than that used in conventional emergency medicine. \nThe content is based on the real-world experience of numerous tactical first responders from police and military units who have operated in hostile environments around the world—situations where traditional pre-hospital treatment methods often fail. \nTraining begins with the fundamentals of tactical medical skills and progressively advances to more specialized topics.
